So, full of curiosity, I lit the SAN MART\u00cdN Robusto. With any new brand, the question is always what character the manufacturer intends to give its blend. The direction becomes clear within the first few minutes. The SAN MART\u00cdN Robusto does not rely on stark contrasts or a dramatic smoking profile. Its character stems from a calm balance, a consistent burn and a controlled build-up in strength. However, that is a matter of personal taste.
