\u201eWe haven't seen any development at Schuster and gaining 20 retailers in four years is far too little. In the USA, 800 retailers currently sell Aladino cigars,\u201c says Justo Eiroa, son of cigar legend Julio R. Eiroa. Clear words that show: The brand has great ambitions and wants to finally reach the audience it deserves in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all, Germany is the third largest cigar market in the world. Julio R. Eiroa: A legend on four wheels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Anyone who has heard the story of Julio R. Eiroa will understand why Aladino cigars are far more than just a smoking product for many cigar lovers. The 87-year-old Cuban exile is a true legend - and not just in Honduras. Despite his advanced age and a plane crash that almost cost him his life, he sits at his desk every day at seven in the morning. The way there? Over a bumpy sandy road. It's a passion that he lives and breathes, which is also reflected in every single cigar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Julio R. Eiroa comes from a family that emigrated from Spain to Cuba in 1915\/16. He left the country after the Cuban revolution, later became involved in the failed Bay of Pigs invasion and served in the Korean War. He finally came to Honduras in 1962 - and from then on dedicated himself to tobacco. Today, his family is one of the largest tobacco producers in the country. With 220 hectares under cultivation, it is an institution in Honduras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
