I felt like I saw 5432 Easter greetings on social media over Easter. All friendly. All colourful. All with a flavour of AI, stick bunnies and a sense of digital obligation. A nice ritual? But let's be honest: <strong>Why does this only happen on social media at Easter - and never at any other time? I treat myself to a Cohiba Siglo V from 2012 and think.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ostern-social-media-wenn-der-algorithmus-zur-auferstehung-ruft\">Easter social media - When the algorithm calls for resurrection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same thing every year:<br>Good Friday is still quiet.<br>Something is building up on Saturday.<br>And then, <strong>Sunday morning at 08:00 sharp<\/strong>, the Internet explodes:<br>Bunny emojis, egg filters, motivational pictures with bible quotes and Easter bunnies with cigars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And you?<br>Right in the centre.<br>Flooded with posts that radiate as much closeness as a thermal printer on malfunction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"was-ware-wenn-wir-einfach-mal-dienstag-sagen-wurden-ich-denk-an-dich\">What if we simply said on Tuesday: I'm thinking of you?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let's be honest:<br>Why do we need a public holiday to wish others well?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why not just write on 22 April at 14:17:<br>\u201eI hope your coffee was good. And your WLAN was stable.\u201c<br>No hashtags. No AI graphics carnage. No compulsion.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Just... humanity.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>WITHOUT just \u201equickly throw out the AI Easter greeting, hit ..... and that's it. Duty fulfilled!\u201c<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"kleiner-impuls-handy-weg-du-schaffst-das\">Small impulse: put your mobile phone away - you can do it!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just give it a try:<br>Put the mobile phone <strong><em>for 10 minutes<\/em><\/strong> to the side.<br>No messages. No Insta-scrolling. No bunny content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After that you can catch up again.<br>Stress yourself out for 20 minutes with stories, tweets, reels and group chats.<br>And then feel...<br><strong>even more stressed than before.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Mission accomplished.<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ostern-social-media-ist-wie-ein-einweg-smiley-nett-aber-nicht-nachhaltig\">Easter social media is like a disposable smiley face - nice, but not sustainable<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I like greetings. I really do.<br>But maybe we'll get started, <strong><em>to be real in between<\/em><\/strong>.<br>Even without a holiday filter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:1em\">And if that doesn't work -<br>then just light a cigar.<br>She doesn't need a calendar.<br>Just peace and quiet. And a lighter for your cigar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:1em\">I was really pleased with my last newsletter - and no, not (just) because of the praise. Although: a little ego stroking is nice. \ud83d\ude05<br>But it was the feedback by e-mail that made the difference.<br>People have said thank you - for a text that made them laugh. And thought-provoking at the same time.<br>And that's when I thought: maybe this does make sense. Maybe it does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"und-weiss-du-was\">And you know what?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I'm going to light a cigar now.<br>Not out of protest. Not for self-reward.<br>Simply because they <em><strong>does not vibrate<\/strong>, <strong>does not beep<\/strong>, <strong>does not light up<\/strong><\/em><br>and doesn't ask me if I've already taken 8,000 steps today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is simply there.<br>Slowly. Calmly.<br><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">An analogue middle finger against holiday hypercommunication.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"frohen-dienstag\">Happy Tuesday!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or whatever day it is.<br><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Thinking of you.
