Tasting Ramon Allones Absolutos Limited Edition 2024<\/strong>. There are moments in the life of an aficionado that are simply magical. And it was just such a moment for me when I received the invitation to the world premiere of the Ramon Allones Absolutos Limited Edition 2024<\/em> received. An event that not only celebrated a cigar, but also the passion behind it. Each participant received a total of three examples of this exceptional vitola - two of which came in an exclusive leather case from S.T. Dupont<\/em>, in the iconic electrifying green colour of Ramon Allones. The metal base of the case was engraved with the details of the evening - a true collector's item! A great surprise! But at the event itself, my cigar remained untouched - no draw, no glow, just pure anticipation. Because everything had to be just right for the perfect moment. And that moment came the next morning - before seven in the morning!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First impressions: Craftsmanship perfection with teething troubles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ramon Allones Absolutos Limited Edition 20245, the vitola is called \u201eNuevos\u201c (length 156 mm, ring gauge 49).<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The roll quality? A dream. Not too tight, not too loose - just right. The draw resistance? Perfect, from start to finish. However, there was one small flaw: a heavy crooked burn at the beginning, which I had to correct with the flame. But after about ten minutes, the problem was history and the cigar only burned slightly wavy from then on. This is not a fault of the cigar - it had practically just arrived in Switzerland! A little rest and acclimatisation will do it good. I am now continuing to enjoy my Ramon Allones Absolutos Limited Edition 2024 tasting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The very first puffs when tasting Ramon Allone's Absolutos Limited Edition 2024 revealed an exciting variety of flavours: gently peppery, slightly acidic, with a salty and pleasantly surprising sensation on the tongue - as if you had tasted a pinch of sea salt. Over time, wonderful wood and peat nuances were added, accompanied by a subtle nuttiness. A very harmonious balance in the first half!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My accompanying drink? A strong Turkish coffee. And what can I say? Perfect harmony. The roasted flavours of the coffee and the spicy notes of the cigar literally danced with each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Retronasal: An explosion - literally! My tasting of Ramon Allone's Absolutos Limited Edition 2024 picks up speed!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The retail price is CHF 45 per cigar, which corresponds to a price of CHF 900 for a box of 20 cigars.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I tried the famous ZiZo R+ Technology<\/em> and experienced a real flavour boost! However... er... not only did my nose explode, but also my head. For me it was too much<\/em>, so I left it alone and enjoyed the cigar in the traditional way - and that was absolutely sufficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second half: Character development with a small dropout<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The glow of the cigar was excellent up to this point. But then, for a few minutes, an unexpected twist: it suddenly went out and tasted a little spicy and bitter during this phase. But shortly afterwards? Everything was perfect again. Nothing to worry about - another sign that it still needs a little time to mature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last part of the cigar surprised with an astringent effect - the mouth became slightly dry, which lowered the perception in this short phase. Here the wood tones became more present, accompanied by a little more pepper and nut. The salt almost completely disappeared, while a gentle floral note joined in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I'm already looking forward to seeing you again in two years' time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
