But when they left for the Dominican Republic after the revolution, they didn't just pack their bags - they took their roots with them. They even replanted the tobacco seeds. And to this day, my friend, they produce with the same passion as they did over 100 years ago. A man with an eye for beauty. Originally an Italian jeweller who found his way to the Dominican Republic ten years ago. And guess what: this sense of luxury and detail is evident in everything he touches. Every cigar he creates is a masterpiece. The boxes, the wrappers - everything has to be perfect. It's as if he cuts each cigar like a gemstone until it's flawless.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eThe boxes are really elaborately produced!\u201c I say as I admire one of the boxes. \u201eYou can really feel the attention to detail.\u201c \u201eExactly,\u201c agrees Salvatore. \u201eThese cigars are not just for smoking. They are a feast for the senses - a combination of tradition, craftsmanship and pure art.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:1em\">And so I stand there, in the middle of this world of cigars, and realise: this is about more than just tobacco.
