On Saturday 8 October 2022, Habanos S.A. and the official and exclusive distributor of Habanos in the Benelux \u201eLaguito 1492\u201c officially presented the new \u201cLa Gloria Cubana Glorias\u201d at the Autoworld car museum in Brussels. This new cigar will be available exclusively in La Casa del Habano speciality shops. It will be available in Switzerland from 18.10.22. The beautiful box of 20 costs CHF 740.00 \/\/ EUR 700.00. Format<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cLa Gloria Cubana Glorias\u201d, is a 49 x 156 mm Parejo vitola, is called \u201eFlechas\u201c (a new format in the Habanos portfolio) and is produced \u201eTotalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga\u201c - Totally Handmade with Long Filler - with wrapper, filler and binder from the Vuelta Abajo* zone, in the Pinar del R\u00edo* region, Cuba*, and made by experienced Cuban cigar rollers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Gloria Cubana Glorias: Interesting history<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

 \u201eLa Gloria Cubana\u201d - \u201eThe Glory of Cuba\u201c - is the spectacular-sounding name of a Habanos brand that is less well-known today. However, this was not always the case. The history of the brand, which was founded in 1885, is closely linked to that of the much more famous Partag\u00e1s brand, which comes from the same factory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the very beginning, La Gloria Cubana was a luxury brand, as can be seen from the still existing lithographs, which were elaborately worked with gold foil. Even today, La Gloria Cubana still offers a unique format in the standard Habanos range - the incomparably elegant and slim \u201eNo.4\u201c from the legendary \u201eMedaille d'Or\u201c series. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discerning Habanos connoisseurs have therefore always had their eye on this brand, to which some of the most interesting regional editions and limited products have been dedicated. Back in 2010, La Gloria Cubana Inmensos in Sublime format (164 mm x ring gauge 54) were launched exclusively for the shops in the global franchise network \u201eLa Casa del Habano\u201c. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tobacco blend of this large-volume cigar was magnificent and many connoisseurs were enthusiastic about this extraordinarily strong Habano. Today, it is one of the most sought-after rarities among Habanophile collectors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also 5TH<\/sup>Avenue, the official Habano importer for Germany, Austria and Poland, chose the brand for a regional edition in 2015: the La Gloria Cubana Glorias in the gigantic \u201eRodolfo\u201c torpedo format with a length of 180 mm and a ring gauge of 54. 6,000 individually numbered boxes containing 10 cigars each sold out in no time at all, underlining the brand's fame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Habanos S.A. is now launching another La Gloria Cubana Gloria on the market. However, it has a newly developed parejo format called \u201eFlechas\u201c (Vitola de Galera), with a large ring gauge of 49 and a length of 156 mm. The sales name (Vitola de Salida) is also \u201eGlorias\u201c. Incidentally, both names, \u201eFlechas\u201c and \u201eGlorias\u201c, refer to historical formats of the brand in the 1970s.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new \u201eGlorias\u201c are offered in highly elaborate boxes painted in white and blue, which are exclusively stocked by the shops of the La Casa del Habano franchise network. A second ring with the Casa logo indicates this. The boxes are protected by a blue velvet cover and cardboard outer packaging. They each contain 20 of these wonderful cigars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The long fillers, which are rolled entirely by hand, come from a selection of the finest tobaccos from the Pinar del Rio growing region. Particularly experienced experts among the rollers of the Partag\u00e1s manufactory are responsible for their production.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The La Gloria Cubana Glorias will now be a permanent addition to the exclusive La Casas del Habano range. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
