Montecristo Wide Edmundo world premiere in Spain: \u201eLa Noche Edmundo\u201c, organised by Club Pasi\u00f3n Habanos, took place on 1 October 2022 at the Estadio C\u00edvitas Metropolitano to present the new vitola of Montecristo's Edmundo line. Vitola Galera: Duke No 3. 125 mm x 21.43 mm. Ring gauge 54. 13.22 grams. The price is currently unknown, as is the delivery date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Editor's note: We did not receive any photos of the event from Habanos S.A., which could bring this pleasure closer to the readers of this article (would be kind of interesting, I think; but maybe I'm the only one). So I'll continue with the official text, er, somewhat abridged:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the setting of the C\u00edvitas Metropolitano stadium, more than 350 lucky enthusiasts had the opportunity to taste this unique vitola for the first time. At the same time, there was an exclusive dinner organised by the Paraguas group, whose portfolio includes some of the Spanish capital's hippest restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Announced during Habanos World Days 2021, the Montecristo Wide Edmundo is the fourth and thickest Habano in Montecristo's emblematic Edmundo line. This new vitola will be launched in October in official Habanos points of sale throughout Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flavour<\/strong>Very woody, vegetal, roasted, with bitter, earthy and spicy notes that leave an aftertaste of coffee, nuts, cocoa nibs, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and light molasses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flavour<\/strong>Toasted, roasted, spicy and sweet in the background, with notes of cedar, leather, coffee, sultanas, almonds, vanilla, cinnamon and molasses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strength<\/strong>: Starts medium and reaches medium to strong intensity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Combustion<\/strong>even and homogeneous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ash<\/strong>Medium, matt grey with light grey, metallic reflections, compact and long-lasting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smoking time<\/strong>about one hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
