Habanos Master Torcedor Ernesto Torres on tour in Germany: he will be visiting specialist shops in the northern half of Germany from the end of August to the beginning of November 2022. Here is the timetable (PDF)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ernesto was born in Havana and worked for decades as a cigar roller at the Romeo y Julieta, Partag\u00e1s and La Corona factories. He is now head of training at La Corona, the largest cigar factory in Cuba. He is responsible for more than 30 young torcedores there, who learn under his guidance how to roll cigars using the method that is still only practised in Cuba today - totalmente a mano (completely by hand). The 49-year-old master roller himself holds category 9 and specialises in the production of figurados and double figurados. According to Osmar Hern\u00e1ndez, director of the La Corona factory, Ernesto is one of the best rollers in the factory.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ernesto has also toured Switzerland as a cigar roller in previous years and his special skill has always been very well received there. This will be his first time in Germany and he is already looking forward to meeting tobacco retailers and aficionados.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ernesto will be accompanied on his tour by Luis Mustelier Perez, who has been working in this capacity for 5TH<\/sup>Avenue and has extensive knowledge about the production of cigars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
