The \u00absober\u00bb and \u00abnon-sober\u00bb drinks, created with great passion, represent the questing pleasure that transports guests into the world of the Greek gods and mythology and at the same time inspires reflection. The 22 new drinks from the pen of talented bar manager Marie Gerber and her team combine mixology and mythology in liquid form. Marie Gerber has a perfect command of the art of cocktail creation, preparation and serving, as well as the craft of mixing. She knows which components love each other in the glass and merge to create an exciting pairing. Her latest creations, which all bear the names of Greek gods and pay homage to mythology, are anything but classic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drinking from a reusable plastic container at The Chedi Andermatt with a 100 per cent biodegradable rice straw? The sea god \u00abPoseidon\u00bb makes it possible. The fresh, sour and slightly bitter drink based on gin and sake reflects the Asian flavour of the 5-star deluxe hotel, which has the most exquisite sake collection in Switzerland. It is both a flavourful ode to the oceans and, in the same sip, a warning signal that the oceans are being increasingly polluted and thus destroyed by oil and plastic. Marie Gerber interprets the oil in the form of an Assam tea and soya reduction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chedi Andermatt is a divine place to spend the night, but you shouldn't fall asleep at the bar. \u00abHypnos\u00bb, the god of sleep, is a slightly bitter, purple-coloured drink with a controversial note that takes you a little way into the land of dreams. Not too strong, it's the playfulness of the ingredients that makes the difference. The melatonin is found in the lavender and cherry liqueur and, in combination with the caffeine in the clarified, colourless cola made by Marie Gerber, is just the right mix. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And how should we imagine \u00abZeus\u00bb, the father of the gods? As a golden dwarf with blue candy floss and a clear message.
