The Cohiba Siglo de Oro Vitola has a ring gauge of 54 and a length of 115 mm. To emphasise the uniqueness of this masterpiece, the Cohiba Siglo de Oro is produced in a limited edition. Only a limited number of cigar lovers will be able to enjoy this exquisite vitola.

18 cigars per NFC box

Each Cohiba Siglo de Oro cigar box contains 18 carefully hand-crafted Habanos. The wrapper leaves, filler and binder leaves have been selected with the utmost precision. They all come from the most prestigious Vuelta Abajo growing area in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. The Cohiba Siglo de Oro is characterised by nuances of green tea and a hint of white pepper. Accompanied by subtle earthy flavours. The compact format with excellent draw resistance makes the smoking experience a real pleasure.

The Cohiba Siglo de Oro is a highlight in yet another aspect. For the first time in the history of Habanos, S.A., the cigar boxes of this vitola are equipped with the innovative NFC technology. This technology enables cigar lovers to scan the NFC chip on the packaging. This verifies the authenticity of the product. And you receive additional information about the cigar (see film above). China one of the most important markets

Therefore, we wanted to take this opportunity to introduce a vitola as special as the Cohiba Siglo de Oro. The incorporation of NFC technology completes the brand experience,“ emphasised a spokesperson for Habanos, S.A.

The elaborately crafted, high-gloss, black lacquer boxes with domed lids are shaped like a Chinese pagoda. They feature metallic inlays with the brand logo on the top. The emblem for the 30th anniversary of the Cohiba Línea de Oro and the symbol of the rabbit can also be seen. Inside the lid, in addition to the NFC chip, there is also a plaque with the number of the box. A total of 18,888 boxes are available worldwide. The „8“ is considered a lucky number in Chinese numerology. 

Pairing and format

For a complete flavour experience, Habanos recommends a 15-year-old Havana Club Rum and Havana Club „Union“. He finds his soul mate in Chinese Oloong tea. In this way, it unites two cultures - that of Habanos and that of tea.
