Lighting the Romeo y Julieta Cupidos works without any problems. The process is quick and uncomplicated. When cutting off the tip, make sure that only approx. 2 mm is cut off to ensure optimum draw resistance. A slightly wavy burn can be observed in the first five minutes, but this corrects itself. The strength of the cigar is in a pleasant range from light to medium and the taste is promising right from the start.

The aftertaste of the Romeo y Julieta Cupidos is very pleasant, while the smoke is spicy and slightly hot. There is an interesting nuance in the slightly sweet note that accompanies all three examples of this cigar. A harmonious interplay of spicy, leathery, cocoa and coffee bean-like aromas unfolds as the cigar progresses. Over time, a woody component is added and the cigar becomes slightly acidic.

Conclusion

Romeo y Julieta Cupidos are left to mature until around 2026.

Romeo y Julieta Cupidos are left to mature until around 2026.

The cigar unfolds its splendor mainly towards the end of the smoking experience and otherwise remains almost linear in its enjoyment profile. It is important to emphasize that this is not a fault of the cigar, but is part of the cigar's still young Cuban tobacco. This cigar has the potential to develop further until around 2026 and requires a certain amount of ageing to develop its full spectrum of flavors. For lovers of complex aromas and a pleasant smoking experience, this cigar is definitely worth a recommendation.

Enjoyment right to the end? Almost. This is not a fault of the cigar. It still needs time to mature.
