New director Gert Kamphuis at Villiger

Gert Kamphuis becomes Director of Marketing & Sales Export and sales companies abroad.

Pfeffikon/LU, March 01, 2021 - In order to meet the growing global challenges, the management responsibility of the companies will be spread over additional shoulders: The Board of Directors of Villiger Söhne AG has appointed Gert Kamphuis as an additional Director of Villiger Söhne AG (Switzerland) and Managing Director of Villiger Söhne GmbH (Germany) as of March 1, 2021.

What impetus should Gert Kamphuis provide?

Gert Kamphuis represents the companies together with the three directors / managing directors Mirko Lorenzi, Egon Schwerdtle-von Delft and Clemens Gütermann. Kamphuis will be the new Director / Managing Director of the two Villiger Group companies responsible for "Marketing & Sales Export and Sales Companies Abroad". "Kamphuis is to provide the companies with increased impetus for business development and expansion in exports and manage the sales companies abroad "Villiger France" and "Villiger North America"," says Heinrich Villiger, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Villiger Söhne AG.

About Gert Kamphuis

Kamphuis, who studied economics, has 34 years of international business experience in the cigar industry. For the last 10 years, he successfully served as Export Manager of the Villiger Group. Prior to that, he was Managing Director in various countries and Vice President Sales Continental Division at Swedish Match.
