Habanos roller in the Baydar&Sahin lounge in Essen
Juana Ramos Guerra is the melodious name of one of Cuba's best cigar rollers. She has been making the finest Habanos for over 50 years and was once one of the co-founders of the legendary Cohiba factory El Laguito in Havana. In recent years, she worked as a roller at La Casa del Habano in the Meliá Cohiba Hotel and then in the cigar store in the neighboring Hotel Riviera.
Since the beginning of October, "Juanita", as she is known to countless cigar lovers around the world, has also been on the road in the German tobacco goods trade. Last week, she made a stop at the Baydar&Sahin Habanos Point store in Essen. 25 aficionados accepted the invitation to a very special evening with Juanita and enjoyed her artistry and the freshly rolled cigars. The event was organized by Gökcay Baydar and his partner Onur Sahin. Also present was 5th Avenue sales representative Michael Zinser, who manages the Baydar&Sahin Lounge on behalf of the German Habanos importer.
