Glitz and glamor: How Habanos crowned the Trinidad year with a spectacular gala!

Tinidad. Habanos, S.A. celebrated the 55th anniversary of the Trinidad brand together with Phoenicia Cyprus Ltd. and Qatar Duty Free. The extraordinary event took place on December 7 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) in Qatar.

A glittering celebration of Cuban heritage

During the event, the Limited Edition Trinidad Cabildos 2024 and the Trinidad Robustos Extra were ceremoniously presented. This celebration paid tribute to the heritage, craftsmanship and artistic quality that characterize Trinidad Habanos. The event was part of the celebrations that began at the Habano Festival in Havana and continued in London.

Over 500 enthusiasts from 43 countries came together to experience the brand's most important new products. The gala reflected the spirit of Trinidad, with impressive decorations, exquisite performances and a tribute to Cuban traditions.

The event began with an elegant reception where Trinidad Vigía and Trinidad Topes were served with Taittinger champagne. The venue was decorated with exclusive designs, lighting and scenes that captured the Trinidad spirit in elegance.

Luxury cars, pop-up stores and a spectacular performance

During the reception, there was an exhibition of classic cars and luxury watches in collaboration with the AlFardan Group. A visually stunning opening by Studio RAYY showcased the best of the Trinidad Year celebrations.

Mohamed Zeidan, President of Phoenicia Cyprus, welcomed the guests and announced new projects at Hamad International Airport. The Casa del Habano pop-up store initiative offered an innovative duty-free experience for premium and vintage cigars.

The Mayyas, winners of "America's Got Talent 2022", wowed the audience with an elegant and artistic performance. The highlight of the evening was the regional presentation of the Limited Edition Trinidad Cabildos 2024 by Walid Saleh, CEO of Phoenicia Cyprus.

An unforgettable evening full of Cuban identity

Saleh emphasized the cultural significance of the cabildos and the connection of the vegueros to Cuba and its iconic cigars. Trinidad Cabildos symbolizes the fusion of cultures and the vibrant Cuban identity that was celebrated through music and performance.

Michel Fadel and his team accompanied the presentation with musical masterpieces that delighted the audience. The Kempinski Hotel's five-course menu harmonized perfectly with the Habanos and turned the evening into a sensory experience.

At the end of the event, participants received commemorative gifts as a token of appreciation for their continued support of the Trinidad brand.
