On October 31, 2024, the elegant Einstein Bar in the Hotel Einstein St. Gallen, known as the "Best Hotel Bar 2023", was transformed into a stage for an exclusive Cuban cigar vintage event organized by La Casa del Habano St. Gallen by Urs Portmann Tabakwaren AG. As soon as you entered the lounge, an air of exclusivity and Cuban flair filled the room. Vintage cocktails, mixed with rare alcohol from the 1950s and 1970s, rounded off the experience and transported the guests to another era. Cigar lovers had traveled from all corners of the country to take part in this special evening, and among them none other than Urs Portmann himself walked through the rows of guests.
Unique moment of pleasure: Vintage Negroni and Hoyo de Dieux at the Einstein Bar St. Gallen
The Einstein Bar shone in warm, slightly dimmed light. The atmosphere was full of anticipation as guests were greeted with a vintage Negroni, blended from rare alcohol dating back to 1950 - an absolute rarity that could only be experienced on this night. Bar manager Erik Koren, newly crowned "Best Bar Manager 2024" according to Cash Ranking, served this Negroni with a smile and the composure of a master of his craft. The cocktails were accompanied by selected cigars, including the legendary Hoyo de Dieux with boxing date February 2002. As soon as the cigars were lit, the gentle aroma of tobacco filled the room and the guests were whisked away into the world of Cuban pleasure. The Hoyo de Dieux presented itself with a fine, nutty note and a hint of leather - a taste experience that made every cigar lover's heart beat faster.

But that was by no means all. For the connoisseurs and collectors among the guests, the Ramon Allones Allones Extra Edition Limitada 2011, boxing date July 2011, was staged.
