Today I would like to introduce you to the Davidoff Millennium Toro, a cigar that is definitely worthy of finding a place in your humidor. I am delighted to share my impressions of this cigar with you. I tested three examples on different days within a month.

The quality and the first five minutes

The wrapper is a little dark in this photo 😅 The natural colour is a beautiful dark brown.

The wrapper of the Davidoff Millennium Toro is oily and has some thick veins, but these do not affect the flavour or the glow. Visually, it is a real eye-catcher with a beautiful dark brown colour. The cold draw surprises with a light pepper note and a hint of forest flavours.

An elegant cigar!

Lighting the last one took a little longer than usual, but I was able to light the other two as usual. The cigars delighted me with a perfect and even glow that lasted until the end - simply fantastic! The strength in this initial phase is medium, the flavour pleasant and intense, especially when using the ZiZo R+ technique.

The first half of the Davidoff Millennium Toro

The ash of the Davidoff Millennium Toro is stable and firm in the first half. From the second half onwards, it breaks off somewhat more quickly.

In the first half of the Davidoff Millennium Toro, I experienced a pleasant and lingering aftertaste (aftertaste) that remains intense and positive on the tongue. The flavour (smell of smoke) is rich and simply wonderful. On the tongue, the flavour is slightly peppery, but thanks to the ZiZo R+ technique and retronasal, all three samples were intense. I can also taste delicately bitter cocoa notes and a clear presence of wood. A slight acidity rounds off the flavour very well. With the ZiZo R+ technique, I experienced a fresh element that I can't describe, but which is definitely very interesting.

The second half and conclusion

A pleasure right to the end.

The cigar continues to develop, sometimes the wood is in the foreground, then the cocoa again and a little later the pepper appears more strongly. In the second half, it gains depth and the wood and cocoa flavours become even more intense. This makes savouring the Davidoff Millennium Toro a fantastic experience.

The strength of the cigar increases over the course of smoking and reaches quite strong values, I would rate it 4/5 on the strength scale. This cigar is definitely a must for cigar lovers.

A tip on the side: store the Davidoff Millennium Toro in the humidor with the cellophane for at least 7 days before smoking in order to unfold the full potential of this great cigar.

All in all, I can only recommend buying the Davidoff Millennium Toro and being impressed by its quality and variety of flavours. Enjoy them in peace and let yourself be enchanted by their constant flavour development.
