A masterpiece of cuisine and tobacco

Davidoff Chefs Edition 2025.

With this series, Davidoff shows the parallels between haute cuisine and premium cigars. Both worlds are based on the best ingredients, craftsmanship and creativity. Davidoff brought culinary art and the art of cigars together back in 2005 with the "Tour Gastronomique". The first Chefs Edition was released in 2016 and has since become a collector's item. The Chefs Edition 2021 received 95 points from Blind Man's Puff and 96 points from The Cigar Authority.

Five top chefs create the blend

For the Chefs Edition 2025 Toro, Davidoff worked together with five star chefs. Together they hold 11 Michelin stars. Paolo Casagrande, Christian Bau, Kirk Westaway, Nick Bril and Michael Beltran created the new blend.

All the chefs are passionate Davidoff aficionados. They contributed their expertise on aromas and flavors directly. They associate innovation, precision, patience and passion with Davidoff. These values characterize the edition.

The chefs are known for their light and fresh cuisine. This characteristic also characterizes the Chefs Edition 2025. Edward Simon, CMO at Oettinger Davidoff, emphasizes the close collaboration. He explains how the fine palates of the chefs developed a "Chef d'œuvre" together with the Master Blenders.

The special blend

Davidoff Chefs Edition 2025.

The Chefs Edition 2025 uses tobaccos from the White Band Collection. This line stands for lightness and finesse. A 15-year matured Dominican San Vicente tobacco provides exceptional depth.

A hybrid tobacco from the Dominican Republic adds fresh lemon notes. Added to this is a Piloto tobacco that has been matured for five years in Yagua bales. The traditional Yagua technique is new to Davidoff.

In this method, tobacco leaves are wrapped in palm leaves. The fibrous structure creates a perfect climate. It enhances smoothness, sweetness and complexity. This process is complex, but it makes the blend unmistakable.

A unique taste experience

The cigar starts with cayenne pepper and sweet cream. The Yagua tobacco brings complex floral aromas. Cayenne, rosewood, leather and a hint of lemon appear in the second third.

The intensity increases in the last third. A crescendo of spices, coffee and oak rounds off the experience. The floral notes give way to more robust aromas. The smoke lasts 60 to 80 minutes.

Format: Toro, 52 ring gauge, 6 ¼ inch length, 2.1 cm diameter, 15.9 cm length.
Intensity: 3 out of 5.

Presentation in an elegant wooden box

The Chefs Edition 2025 is presented in a solid wooden box. A marble plate on the lid is reminiscent of a fine chopping board. Precisely crafted recesses hold the ten Toro cigars securely in place. This turns the box itself into a collector's item.
