Davidoff Aniversario No. 3 in Slow Tasting
The Davidoff Aniversario No. 3 is a cigar that I tried during the slow tasting. I didn't have this cigar on my radar. However, it is of outstanding quality and a variety of flavors. Here is my report, the slow tasting video and a quiz. Have fun with it!
The Difference - What is the difference?
Do you know the difference? Four cigar lines from Davidoff are presented under The Difference.
The White Band is

The four lines are called White Band Collection. It is a timeless icon of sophistication and elegance. The difference with other cigars is, among other things, the strict quality control. In other words: When the white band closes around a cigar, it is the final act of a ritual of Caribbean passion and Swiss precision.
Cigars.Zone would like to help you understand this difference.

Impression during the smoke
Aftertaste and aroma (scent of smoke = room note)
First half: pleasant / (tongue, retronasal and R+)
Second half: the same as the first half, but more intense
Taste on the tongue
First half: slightly peppery / some cocoa / cedar / woody / slightly acidic / permanent build-up
Second half: more pepper / more light wood and more cedar / slightly acidic / permanent increase
Retronasal
First half: sweetish-grassy / slightly peppery / cedar / tart / permanent build-up
Second half: sweetish-grassy stronger / more pepper / roasted aromas of wood / sourish / permanent increase
ZiZo R+ Technology
First half: too strong for me (had the impression of a freshly painted room, no fault of the cigar)
Second half: slightly peppery / very spicy / slightly acidic / permanent increase

Course of enjoyment and conclusion
Course of enjoyment: constantly upwards. Strength at the beginning 2/5, somewhat stronger from the second half onwards.
Conclusion: It was a pleasure! The cigar is problem-free, smolders straight and evenly. The first half is mild in strength. From the second half it gets stronger and I had to be careful not to get too much nicotine.
Highly recommended!
A cigar test is subjective. The taste of a cigar is influenced by personal taste preferences, taste memories, the mood of the day, what you have eaten or drunk beforehand. Even the lighting in the room influences the taste experience. The flavor nuances described here therefore do not necessarily correspond to your own impressions.
