Three novelties, a good shot of humor: Dominik Mezzomo on EPC, Aganorsa & West Tampa Circle of Life
I am at the stand of The Royal Cigar Company AGwhere - as always in the best of moods Dominik Mezzomo receives. In his typical friendly mood, he presents three exciting new products that are sure to get people talking in Switzerland.

10 years of Feria del Tabaco - pleasure meets passion
A unique in-house exhibition in Zurich: MANUEL'S brings together cigar importers, manufacturers and aficionados for an enjoyable meeting of a special kind. For ten years now, the Feria del Tabaco cigar lovers come together in Zurich. What once began as a small in-house exhibition is now a fixed date in the calendar of the Swiss cigar scene. Numerous importers present their exclusive cigars, accessories and new products. For two days, the MANUEL'S into a lively forum of enjoyment: talks, tastings, innovations and encounters - all under the sign of the cigar. An anniversary that is not only celebrated, but also enjoyed.

EPC Casa Carrillo - Dominican elegance with Cameroon cover leaf
"I have three new products with me," Dominik begins. The first: E.P. Carrillo Casa Carrilloa medium-bodied cigar from the Dominican Republic. What makes it special? The Cover sheet comes from Cameroon, from the famous Meerapfel family - a rarity and a mark of quality at the same time. "The cigar is wonderfully balanced, aromatic and elegant - exactly what you would expect from E.P. Carrillo," he explains.
Aganorsa Supreme Leaf International - exclusively outside the USA
Dominik's second innovation is the Aganorsa Supreme Leaf International in the luggage. "They are only available internationalso not in the USA," he says with a smile. "A nice robusto format, strong, nutty, typically Nicaraguan." And he immediately provides some background knowledge: "Many people confuse Aganorsa with another company in Nicaragua, but Aganorsa is the largest tobacco producer in Nicaragua. They have huge areas and know exactly what they are doing. Their tobaccos are among the best in the world."
West Tampa Circle of Life - two master blenders, one statement
Thirdly, Dominik presents the West Tampa Circle of Life - a cigar with oomph and a special story. "This is a joint venture between Rick Rodriguez and Ernesto Perez-Carrillo - Two master blenders who have joined forces. The result is a strong, complex cigar made from Nicaragua." I ask Dominik whether Disney might have a problem with the name "Circle Of Life"? "No, Disney has nothing against it. Unfortunately, I couldn't take Simba with me, and Jamal isn't here either - so it's all good."
Rum with style - and a wink
In addition to the cigars, something else catches the eye: elegant bottles with the same label as the Circle of Life. Dominik grins: "I don't know exactly how they got here. But before they evaporate, I'd rather pour them out." The rum to go with the smoke - a charming addition with a wink.
"Stay open, stay curious"
At the end, he gets serious for a moment - but only briefly: "Keep an open mind, stay curious, keep trying new cigars. And: always stay positive!" Dominik Mezzomo shows how a passion for cigars, specialist knowledge and humor go together perfectly.
With the E.P. Carrillo Casa Carrillothe Aganorsa Supreme Leaf International and the West Tampa Circle of Life The Royal Cigar Company is launching three exciting new products on the Swiss market.
And if there's a little rum involved - all the better.
