5. hygrometer:

Measures the humidity in the humidor. Most are too imprecise. My recommendation to start with: buy the BOVEDA packs with 72%. Then you don't even need a hygrometer.

The first smoke - what to look out for?

• Do not inhale! Cigar smoke is enjoyed, not inhaled.
• Smoke slowly: Max. 1-2 puffs per minute. Otherwise the cigar will get too hot.
• Do not constantly re-fire: It is better to let it cool down a little and light it again. Don't wait too long, otherwise the aroma will be gone.
• Take your time: Consciously plan 30-60 minutes - no cigars between the door and the door.
• No wind: If you smoke outside, make sure there is no wind. This can cause the cigar to overheat because it is constantly being "blown", so to speak.
