An unpretentious smoke: tasting the Nicaroma 4×56 Gordito
I have three copies of the Nicaroma Gordito and they scored a solid 90 points in my tasting. An impressive achievement that shows that this cigar is not only visually appealing, but also tasty. A cigar that should not be missed and that impresses with its homage to Nicaragua and its unique characteristics. Nicaroma is another stand-alone brand from VILLIGER that does not bear the company's name.

First impression
At first glance at the Nicaroma Gordito the silky, shiny wrapper leaf immediately catches the eye. It has an even, medium-brown color that makes you want more. The construction feels firm and even - a promising start. The cold smell surprises us with notes of fresh earth and a hint of grass, accompanied by a subtle, sweet undertone. A promising start to the tasting experience. How did I come up with these sensory impressions? Honestly, I have no idea. My brain told me to write this... 😁

The prelude - The first moves
Lighting is effortless and the first puffs already reveal an impressive variety of flavors. The draw resistance is optimal - neither too light nor too heavy - and the burn is even, which speaks for the high-quality workmanship. Flavors of cedar and a subtle spiciness make the start, while a hint of leather and dark cocoa emerge retronasally.
The marketing says that the smoking time is about 40 minutes. I was able to enjoy this cigar for over 60 minutes. Great taste! Depending on what type of smoker you are, you can even manage 90 minutes with this cigar.
Middle third - The pleasure intensifies
During the smoke, the Nicaroma Gordito unfolds in all its glory. The aroma becomes somewhat more intense without being overpowering, and the spiciness is complemented by grassy and sweetish notes. The room note is pleasant and subtly floral - a delight for the senses. The taste remains complex and balanced, which makes the smoke extremely entertaining. What is a room note? It is the scent of the smoke.
Final - A worthy conclusion
In the last third, the intensity of the aromas increases somewhat. Notes of coffee and wood emerge more clearly and provide a round, satisfying finish. The aftertaste is mild and lingers for a pleasantly long time, making you want to smoke another one.
It glows evenly and for a long time. I didn't take any more photos because I just wanted to enjoy these specimens.
