9th Portmann Cigar Trophy presented by Davidoff - in Bad Ragaz, the Urs Portmann Tabakwaren AG for the golf tournament, which partly fell through. It started to rain just in time for the tee-off. But the players were not at all impressed and bravely marched onto the course. Later it cleared up, then it rained again and in the evening at the barbecue the sun shone. It was the first time that it had ever rained during the Portmann Cigar Trophy.

Golf Club Bad Ragaz

Around 100 golfers flocked to the beautiful golf club in Bad Ragaz. What a fantastic course! The grass was perfectly trimmed; beautiful trees and cosy ponds with grasses and flowers.

A real golfer is not put off by the rain.

The Cigar Trophy is an invitational tournament organised by PORTMANN, the cigar and tobacco pipe specialist with branches in Kreuzlingen and St. Gallen. The specialist, which has been established for over 50 years, is known far beyond the country's borders. This is the company's most important annual marketing event. To take part in the Portmann Cigar Trophy, you receive a personal invitation from the Portmann family.

But HELLO? Rain? It doesn't matter at all!
